This needs to be darkened, or the contrast made greater; otherwise this is great. The physical shapes were nicely drawn, and the arrangement of books piled on top of each other is very reminiscent of school.

i love this when i look it up close, but otherwise its hard to make out the details because the shading is so light

Its hard to tell what it is not unless you look up close. I like your subject though!
