Torie Downs

My concentration is the adventures of my Coke can. It consists of black and white pencil images and patterns in watercolor.

Don't really understand the idea you are trying to portray in this drawing. Coke bottle looks great though!

i love the colors you used for the water colors, but i think the pencil shading should be darker

your coke can's adventures amuses me, good choice. I love the detail on the coke can but I wish the watercolors were even stronger

This is a great subject and concept: having black, white, and watercolor is a pleasant change from having a vibrant color striking out against a grayscale background. The patterns in watercolor remind me of stained glass. This is a great picture!

Don't get it! Is it in relation to your life.... Pointless?

Are you happy in life?

haha i like your idea. i also like how you decided to use watercolor only on certain aspects of the piece-a refreshing choice. nice work!

i really like the concept but i feel that either the water colors or pencil shadding should have been brighter/ darker to give more of a contrast. but combining penil and water color is an amazing change!
