This piece is INTENSE. Everything about it from the angles to the contrast to the subject is strikingly beautiful. I love this because it is obviously a city building yet it sneaks in some abstract elements... The bright building's windows and the flag bring you back down from the projecting edges and bright lights, but are subtle enough to keep you in awe at the colors and contours. The black structures in the rightmost building don't remain the same shape throughout- a little detail would make them appear more like bars instead of a brush stroke; this doesn't bother me, though, because of how those bars appear present without being glaring, mechanical black. This is exceptional work!

WOW where to start well i love the fact that the focus and eye is drawn up ward! yet when at the bottom of the piece soo much detail. the contrast of the dark night back ground and the bright shadow of the building. the shadow of the american flag is a really nice simple symbolistic touch.

I think the shadow of the building makes this piece stand out. I like the straightforwardness and details of this picture. good job!

ive been here :)
i love your choice of subject and color. the only thing i can really pick out as needing work would be the windows. they are so hard to draw and you did a great job with them, but something about the reflection on some parts doesn't seem quite right. this is a very accurate painting. lovely job overall!

i like the depth inside the windows and the shading on the building is really nice!

i really like the shading in this piece it looks amazing and the details are all so real. one thing you could have worked on was the tall building because it looks a tiny bit not straight but other than that little mistake everything about this i love, the scenery and espacially the lower building with the lights on
